JESSOPS ADDS MOTORSPORT ACADEMY PHOTOGRAPHY DATES

New championship partner Jessops is offering amateur photographers the chance to get in on the motorsport action at forthcoming rounds of the Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup at Brands Hatch (30 August) and Donington Park (13 September).

Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic specialist, is organising a ‘photography course for petrolheads’ at the event.

“Capturing fast-moving objects is one of the skills that many photographers aspire to perfect,” says Jessops, “and with a full day of on-track action as your subject, you’ll be sure to leave with great experience in this area.”

Attendees are offered a unique ‘behind the garage doors’ experience photographing the action, with comprehensive tutoring from Jessops Academy trainers on the most challenging techniques of photographing high speed cars during the races. They will be taken to the best vantage points at the track to perfect these newly acquired skills.

They will also have the opportunity to meet some of the competitors in the Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup and to photograph their cars in the paddock, with tutors offering tips to overcome some of the challenges of getting great images.
