Son of banger racing/rally/truck racing champion Richard Walker and brother of Daniel. Started racing in 2006 in Caterham Megagraduate series; three race wins '06/'07; fourth in championship in 2007. Made his saloon debut in 2008 in the Volkswagen Racing Cup, winning one race and taking championship sixth. A front-runner again in 2009 when reliability permitted; 12th overall. Fourth in the championship in 2010 with several podium finishes and championship runner-up 2011 with three race victories in his KPM Golf GTI. Won the championship in 2012 thanks to two race wins and a further nine podium finishes in his KPM-prepared Scirocco
