Started racing in 1990s in a Mk I Golf GTI, moving on to the Proton coupe series in 1999. Won the Proton championship in 2000 and spent a season racing Renault Clios in 2001. Has since raced occasionally in various saloons, including a Ford Focus and a V5 Golf in the USA. Made his Racing Cup debut in 2007
