Made an impressive racing debut in 2005 Racing Cup, winning his fifth race, at Knockhill, and going on to take two second-place finishes on his way to championship sixth. 2006, no race wins but several podium finishes and championship sixth. 2007, in contention for championship victory right up to the last... Claimed third overall after three race wins. 2008, champion at last, with three race victories and five additional podium finishes. Champion again 2009 with two wins and a part-season only in 2010, collecting another brace of race victories
